First, remove your factory spare tire carrier and the tailgate hinges. Second, assemble the components to be a complete cargo rack. The supplied instructions could help you a lot while there are so many parts and bolts. Third, install the hinge kit on your tailgate. Fourth, lift the cargo rack and bolt onto the tailgate and the hinges. Make sure the rack is in the ideal position, then tighten up all the screws. It takes about 2 hours to have it done depending on your technical skill.
